Kaduna: “Uba Sani chooses reconciliation over confrontation” – Aide

Aide on Uba Sani

Senior Special Assistant to Governor Uba Sani on Public Affairs, Victor Mathew Bobai, has defended the Kaduna governor’s leadership style, describing it as one anchored on tolerance, inclusion, and reconciliation.

Speaking in Sabon-Tasha suburb, Bobai dismissed claims that Uba Sani is intolerant of criticism, arguing that the governor has consistently allowed political opponents and critics to express their views freely without intimidation.

He said the proposed APC Reconciliation Committee is aimed at addressing grievances arising from the party’s recent primaries, engaging aggrieved aspirants, and strengthening unity within the party.

Bobai also praised the planned refund of nomination form fees to unsuccessful aspirants, describing it as an unprecedented move that reflects the governor’s commitment to inclusive democracy and party cohesion.

He maintained that the APC primaries were transparent, insisting that Governor Sani neither imposed candidates nor denied aspirants the opportunity to contest. He urged party members to support reconciliation efforts and avoid actions capable of causing division.

The governor’s aide reaffirmed Uba Sani’s loyalty to President Bola Tinubu and his commitment to the President’s re-election in 2027, expressing confidence that both the APC and Tinubu would record overwhelming victories in Kaduna State.

According to Bobai, Governor Uba Sani’s decision to pursue dialogue, establish a reconciliation committee, and support aggrieved aspirants demonstrates a commitment to unity, peace, and stronger internal democracy within the APC.
